Dr. Katharina Deichsel is a specialist in veterinary reproductive medicine, based in the Hannover region.
Her interest in reproductive medicine began during an internship at the Clinic for Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Andrology with an EU insemination station at Vetmeduni Vienna, during her veterinary studies at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Hannover.
After completing her studies in Hannover, she returned to Vienna in 2002 as a doctoral candidate, dedicating herself to reproductive medicine. She successfully completed her doctorate and followed it with a four-year specialization to become a veterinary specialist in reproductive medicine at an international level.
In 2006, she earned the title “Diplomate of the European College of Animal Reproduction” after passing a comprehensive exam.
Dr. Deichsel has worked at the Veterinary University of Vienna as a senior physician, where she managed hundreds of mares through their reproductive processes, dealt with specialized cases, taught students, and conducted various research projects in gynecological and andrological questions.
In early 2017, she returned to Hannover with her family and continues to offer her expertise and passion for reproductive medicine to clients in the region.
She operates ReproVet Hannover, a mobile practice for reproductive medicine cases in the Hannover area, offering services such as cycle diagnostics, fertility examinations, insemination management, pregnancy diagnostics, twin management, foal medicine, and andrology.
