ProSeries Events Terms and Conditions
Booking Confirmation
Booking a rider lesson or spectator ticket for any ProSeries event (including ProDressage, ProJump, and ProBreed) implies acceptance of these terms and conditions. Confirmation of a booking is subject to availability and receipt of full payment.
Payment
Full payment is required to confirm a booking. Payment methods accepted include payments via the official ProSeries website paygate as well as direct EFT payments. Failure to make full payment within 5 days may result in the cancellation of the booking.
Cancellation and Refunds
- Cancellations made less than 21 days prior to the scheduled event must provide valid and reasonable proof of extenuating circumstances such as a medical emergency or unforeseen travel restrictions to be eligible for a partial refund or credit at the discretion of ProSeries Events.
- Cancellations more than 30 days prior to event may receive a 100% refund.
- Cancellations between 30 – 21 days prior to event may receive a 75% refund.
- Cancellations 21 – 14 days prior to event may receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations 14 – 7 days prior to event may receive a 25% refund.
- Cancellations within 7 days prior to event will not be eligible for any refund.
- Ticket holders are encouraged to find a substitute for their exact ticket in consultation with the event organizer to be eligible for a full ticket refund.
Indemnity
Participants including minors and their legal guardians agree to indemnify and hold ProSeries Events, its staff, and affiliates not responsible for any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from personal injury, death, or damage to participants, employees of attendees, horses, and property during the event.
Liability Waiver
By booking a lesson or attending an event, participants acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with horse riding and release ProSeries Events, its staff, and affiliates from any liability for injury, loss, or damage incurred.
Safety Regulations
Riders must adhere to all safety regulations and instructions provided by ProSeries Events staff. Failure to comply may result in the termination of the lesson without a refund.
Rider and Spectator Responsibility
Riders and spectators, including those accompanying minors, are responsible for their own safety and must comply with all safety regulations. ProSeries Events is not liable for any harm or damage that occurs due to non-compliance.
Health and Fitness
Riders must ensure they are physically and mentally fit to participate. Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed to ProSeries Events prior to booking.
Photography and Videography
ProSeries Events reserves the right to take photographs or videos during events for social media and promotional purposes. Those who do not wish to be photographed or filmed must inform ProSeries Events in writing prior to the event.
Intellectual Property
All text, images, and videos on the ProSeries website are the property of ProSeries and may not be used without explicit written permission.
Social Media Policy
Riders and spectators, including minors, are encouraged to share their experiences on social media platforms. However, content that defames ProSeries Events or violates the privacy and rights of participants, staff, or animals is prohibited. This policy aligns with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPI Act), South Africa.Right of Admission
ProSeries Events reserves the right to refuse admission to any participant, including minors, at its sole discretion. This may be due to safety concerns, failure to comply with terms and conditions, or other reasonable grounds.
Conduct
Abuse towards staff, animals, or other participants will not be tolerated. ProSeries reserves the right to remove any participant engaging in such behaviour without a refund.
Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by South African law and any disputes arising from them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
Weather Conditions
Lessons and events may be subject to cancellation or rescheduling due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances. ProSeries Events will notify participants of any changes in a timely manner.
